In some case, courses are only minutes away from The Durrant House Hotel, such as The Royal North Devon Golf Club, Westward Ho! which is reputedly the oldest club in Britain with a challenging Links course and an interesting history in its clubhouse.
Others, like Saunton Sands, Portmore, Bude and Holsworthy are all within short driving distance from the Hotel.
For those looking for a 9 hole Championship Course to play on we have none other than the famous Jack Nicklaus at St Mellion and can obtain more than reasonable green fees in your golfing holiday package.

From leaving the M5 motorway at junction 27, take the exit A361 to Barnstaple. On the approach to the town take the A39 to Bideford. On the outskirts of Bideford you cross the new Torridge Bridge and at the first roundabout take the 3rd exit to Westward Ho! This is Heywood Road. We are situated at the crest of the hill on the right hand side, our entrance is in Durrant Lane.
